Rapture Ready

“The world is planning for wars!”

“Heaven is preparing for a wedding!”

The Prophetic Plan

John 14:1-3 (NKJV)

1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.

2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. “I will come again.”

I Corinthians 15:51-58 (NKJV)

51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—

52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

55 “O Death, where is your sting?

O Hades, where is your victory?”

56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

“In a moment.”

I Thessalonians 4:13-18 (NKJV)

13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

“Caught up together.”

The Rapture

-It’s scriptural

-It’s sudden

-It’s sure

The Sounds of the Rapture

The Sound of the Lord’s Command

1 Thessalonians 4:16

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout!”

A similar shout!

John 11:43 (NKJV)

43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”

This “shout” will wake up the dead.

The Sound of Michael’s Voice

1 Thessalonians 4:16

…with the voice of the Archangel

Michael will set God’s plan in motion

Also, Michael may be calling his leagues of angels to active duty.

The Sound of The Trumpet

1 Thessalonians 4:16

“…And with the trumpet of God…”

The trumpet is used to call  God’s people together

Roman Military – 3 Trumpet Blasts

The Scriptural Basis for the Rapture

The Rapture of Enoch

Genesis 5:22-24 (NKJV)

22 After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters.

23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.

24 And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

The Rapture of Elijah

II Kings 2:11-12 (NKJV)

11 Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces.

The Rapture of Jesus Christ

Acts 1:10-11 (NKJV)

10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel,

11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

This same Jesus shall come again!

The Surprise of the Rapture

Matthew 24:42-44 (NKJV)

42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.

44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

A thief comes to take that which is not His.

Jesus is coming to take His own purchased possession.

Ephesians 1:14 (NKJV)

14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Be Ready!
